Scott A. Andresen founded Andresen & Associates in 2005 after cutting his teeth in-house — first for the Oakland Raiders and as legal assistant to the Executive Director of the Illinois High School Association, then with the Arena Football League. Today he's an eight-time Super Lawyer and three-time Rising Star in the Entertainment & Sports practice area, a seven-term chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Sports Law Committee, and a sports law instructor in Northwestern University's Masters of Sports Administration program.

He holds degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (BA), Valparaiso University School of Law (JD), and the University of Phoenix (MBA), and studied law at Cambridge University under U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. His commentary on sports law and sports business has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, ESPN.com, and other prestigious national outlets.
